WR&C was commissioned to carry out a final evaluation of this training scheme for leaders of all faith groups in the UK. The FLTI has been running since 2019, and is provided by the Cadbury Centre for the Public Understanding of Religion (part of the University of Birmingham). The project is funded by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
By an analysis of attendance and assessment data, and participants’ own assessment of their learning and its impact, we were able to take a view on the project’s value.
Dr Andrew Davies, director of the Cadbury Centre, said: “‘We were deeply impressed by and immensely grateful for the thoughtfulness and insightfulness of WR&C’s analysis. Their report engaged a huge amount of data critically and rigorously and got straight to the significant issues, and their recommendations provided some really helpful expert external guidance to help us move forward.”
